Hi, I’m Hannah!

I grew up believing success and happiness came from checking certain boxes—making money and becoming a lawyer. With that mindset, I majored in political science and minored in psychology to prepare for law school. Along the way, I noticed the deep connections between what I was studying and how people’s minds and lives interact. Professionally, I worked as a legal secretary, assisted in real estate development, and engaged in political fundraising. Yet, I often witnessed money and conflict being prioritized at the expense of others. This environment left me drained and unfulfilled.

I shifted paths and returned to physical labor, helping people transform their homes through painting and remodeling. Seeing the genuine happiness in my clients and building meaningful connections was transformative. I realized true change doesn’t come from external battles or societal standards—it comes from finding peace within ourselves. Recognizing our needs and building healthy relationships is key. We define our own happiness.

This realization led me to pursue a master’s in clinical mental health with a holistic specialization. During and after my studies (while also living with and caring for my grandmother with dementia—rest in peace, my adventurous firecracker), I gained valuable experience:

  • Supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries in adjusting to daily life.

  • Working in community mental health and leading group therapy for seniors.

  • Serving as an on-campus therapist at a therapeutic boarding school.

  • Providing remote mental health support for teens and adults during the Covid lockdown.

  • Traveling across the U.S. to support members of the LGBTQIA+ community in their journeys.

Over the years, I built this private practice to offer support through insurance or private pay, ensuring I can meet a variety of clients’ needs. Life is short, and we have a beautiful opportunity to reshape our understanding of happiness. Mastering our minds is an art everyone deserves to explore. When the outside world feels overwhelming, taking time to reflect and reevaluate can reignite passion and purpose, leading to a richer, more meaningful life.

I have loved every step of this meandering journey and look forward to continued growth and transformation. If you’ve read this far, thank you!
